ANTOINETTE PFLIMLIN was born in France. Her first encounter with the United States was a year with Bread and Puppet Theater. Later, she studied with Shakespeare & Company and met Merry Conway. Back home, she was offered a long running engagement with the highly acclaimed Cabaret "Barbali" (Umbrella) created by Germain Muller. Antoinette has spent the past 2 years in charge of all the extensive celebrations for the City of Strasbourg, France; notably, The Festival of the Union of European Theaters, and the huge trompe l’oeil painted facade project, representing the countries of the European Union, featured on buildings throughout the City. Every year since 1992, she has delighted the people of Strasbourg with her inventive decorations for the 30-meter high Christmas tree, displayed in the central square of Strasbourg.
